Retreat

The revival retreat has four core foci to improve change agents’ well-being:

  1. Celebration

  2. Communing with People & Nature

  3. Exposure to cultural healing modalities-resources

  4. Liberation NOW

Intentional in the design of this retreat, we facilitated and curated these foci at the highest quality. From headlining sound exhibitions to organic food offerings, every detail was curated to bring to life our guiding intentions.

Our annual retreat is an innovative and embodied practice lab of care & nourishment with opportunities for deep communion with self, others, nature & Spirit. Providing access to culturally-responsive healing practitioners – the result is not only healing, it’s a really good time!

Revival Retreat - Four Core Foci

  • Celebration

Acknowledging our strengths and wins improves our mental, emotional & spiritual well-being. Joyful celebrations bond community and remind us that we have what we need to address our challenges.

  • Communing with People & Nature

Spending time with supportive people & in nature are both lauded by mental health research as top ways to alleviate stress. This year’s retreat offered both to frontline advocates.

  • Exposure to Cultural, Healing & Spiritual Resources

The revival exposes social change agents to high-quality, culturally-rooted healing modalities & practitioners, creating new pathways for long-term care.

  • Liberation NOW!

The revival allows activists to see & feel liberation NOW. Experiencing what is possible offers embodied hope, critical for mental & emotional wellness.

“I have been truly revived. I came seeking clarity, confidence, and confirmation– I received that and more. It was the first time I was able to be in a large group setting and feel as if I truly belonged in the space.”

“The Givers Revival REVIVED me! I communed with EXCELLENCE in every aspect of the word. The food, the vendors, the activation teachers, the care keepers, the volunteers, the artists, the musicians, the DJs, the elders, the servers, the services! EVERYTHING was perfect & there was healing activated in EVERY exchange.”
